Joe, Glad to see you're not brain dead, but there still is a lot of mush in there. I can appreciate those democrats who believe this country should have a single payer health care system. I strongly disagree, but at least they're very clear. It's the rest of the democrats that are absolute idiots. They keep calling for health care reform, or better yet a major overhaul.

There are problems with the delivery of care, and there are people who don't have insurance coverage; but there really isn't anyone who doesn't get truly needed health care services.

I think that you could get a strong majority of people to agree that we can find a way to make certain that those who truly can't afford coverage can be added to one of the many exsisting programs, likewise for those with pre-exsisiting conditions.

Aren't we trying to swat a fly with a sledge hammer? Couldn't we just look at the shortcomings of the system and address those.

You lose your job, which means you lose your paycheck, which means you go on COBRA, except you no longer pay a percentage of the premiun you have to pay the entire premium. Tough to do when there's no paycheck. Find a solution.

I totally understand insurance companies requiring a waiting period before covering pre-existing conditions. Why, for example, would any single young guy get coverage before he needed it? Oh, you need surgery, time to get coverage. Oh, they found a tumor, time to get coverage. Find a solution.

Those who simply don't have the funds; expand the eligibility of one or many programs already in place, Find a solution.

President Obama says we are going to save money because we're going to attack Medicaid fraud. Couldn't we just do that now? If it's as simple as Obama makes it out to be, let's go after the fraud starting tomorrow morning.

I'm sure you can add other things that need to be addressed. But can't we find a solution to each of these problems one at a time? I bet they could do it in a whole lot less then 2,000 pages.
